RJS 2024 Portfolio Changes
We appreciate your business and have enjoyed working with you to achieve great results year after year. As we approach 2024, RJS and BSG have begun to strategically review our plans for the new year, to ensure that both our businesses and yours are set up for success.
RJS Craft Winemaking and BSG recently conducted a joint review of our wine kit portfolio to proactively bring forth efficiencies and offset pricing impacts in the new year. In order to pre-emptively work towards lowering 2024 prices, this is a decision that needs to be made much in advance of 2024.
We approached this with extreme care to ensure that our wine kit portfolio still meets the needs of our retailers and is competitive in the market. We have decided to move forward with eliminating low-performing products based off national volume. For most of the low-performing products selected, there is repetition within the portfolio that allows for a comparable substitution for you to transition in-store customers to.
Unfortunately, in some cases, products are simply no longer meeting the minimum juice order quantities to allow us to continue offering the product, therefore there is no comparable substitution available. In order to make it easier for you and your customers, we have compiled an easy reference guide below with the delisted SKUs and recommendations of alternative products that have been vetted by our Research and Development team based on similarities in tasting profiles.

To ensure an adequate transition period for your customers, RJS will be producing additional quantities of the delisted SKUs in September and October to supply the national forecast up until February of 2024 (6 months).
